Born in Chicago, IL and raised in Phoenix, AZ.  Graduated from Arizona State University.  Received a commission in the Air Force from ROTC.  Became a navigator and flew KC-135, C-141, and C5 for 20 years.  Retired in 1987 as a Major.  Was a teacher for 35 years during my Air Force Reserve time at Travis AFB, CA.  My biggest hobby was coaching soccer for about 40 years.  I coached all age groups of soccer.  Started soccer program at the high school in my district and was head coach for 10 years at Vanden High School, Travis AFB, CA.
